Dr. John Scurr is a consultant vascular surgeon who ran a large department looking into venous problems, and in particular blood clotting problems at London’s Universtiy College Hospital.

He is a member of the scientific executive committee of the WHO (World Health Organisation) investigating Travel related Thrombosis.

Dr. Scurr is also an independent, medical expert on travel related DVT lawsuits for a number of the world‘s leading airlines.
